Fall Television Shows Are Back!

Fall is such an exciting time of year and I’m not just talking about the leaves changing colors.  ALL the fall television shows are back! No more old re-runs, Harry Potter marathons (although I did enjoy this), and lame reality shows.

Greys Anatomy

Grey’s Anatomy is now going into its’ 15th season on air…did you know Ellen Pompeo, who is the show’s leading lady, is making over 20-million dollars a year, which is basically 575,000 dollars per episode! This makes her one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood. Another Shondaland favorite: How to Get Away with Murder, starring Viola Davis, returns as well.

This is us

Emmy-award-winning This is Us…or “This is Ugly Crying” as I like to call it, also returns this fall. Without spoiling anything, I am wondering what direction the show will take but I’m sure the Big 3 will not disappoint. Which reminds me, I need to stock up on Kleenex.

There’s also the return of popular Netflix shows such as Ozark, Daredevil, American Vandal, Glow, and more!  And soon enough, we’ll be blessed with back-to-back Home Alone 2: Lost in New York on repeat…just in time for the holidays.

Did your show come back again for another season or was it chopped? Are you among the many people waiting for the dreaded year-and-a-bit for Game of Thrones to return? (Seriously what’s taking so long?) Either way, we hope you stay entertained this season.

Speaking of entertaining, what are you entertaining your callers with when they’re put on-hold? Hopefully not the radio advertising your competitor’s promos, crappy music, or worse…complete and total silence… I’d rather watch Dr. Pimple Popper than have to listen to default music. Make sure your callers are being entertained as well as staying informed on all the latest specials, promos, and events happening at your company with On-Hold Marketing’s unique, customized messages. The power of story and the power of a well-crafted film or television show is really all you need to speak to people. I think Hollywood is sort of catching up to that.” – Jordan Peele
