Production Installation: How to load a new On-Hold Marketing production into your message equipment.

USB Load

Saving a new production to thumb drive:

Remove Thumb drive from the digital message player. Insert Thumb drive into the USB port of any computer that contains the new message to be transferred. Double click on My Computer, click on the Removable Disk.
Delete previous on-hold message on Removable Disk. (Right click on production and click delete)
Copy new message onto Thumb drive (right click on new production, click send to and click send to MOH drive.)
Remove Thumb drive from PC and insert into Messager USB. The new message will start to play in about 5 to 10 seconds.

Note: In order for message to continuously play, USB drive must remain in Messager USB.

Saving a new production to diskette:

Insert a new blank diskette (Double-Sided High Density, 1.44 MB) into diskette drive.
Click on the 1st attachment in the e-mail from On-Hold which is in “eof” format.
When asked if you would like to open the file or save it to disk, choose “Save it to disk.”
Save the attachment to your 3 ½ Floppy (a: or b) drive.
Remove the diskette.

Loading the new production:

Insert the diskette into the unit.
Turn on the speaker.
Press the load button and hold it down until the green light directly below the diskette drive turns on. (This means that your production has begun loading. The loading process will take up to 6 minutes.)
When the disk is finished loading, the production should be playing on the line.
Adjust volume on back of unit, if necessary (bass and treble can be adjusted as well.)
Turn speaker off.

Loading a new production:

To insert or remove a tape, press the eject button beside the tape door.
Place the On-Hold Marketing cassette into the tape transport with the label facing out (towards the door). Close the tape door.
Press the DOWNLOAD button. The unit rewinds the cassette and starts recording the message when audio is detected on the tape.
The message has completed loading once the light switches from load to play.
To listen to the recording, adjust the SPEAKER control clockwise. Provided that the tape was successfully loaded, your new message will play to the monitor speaker.
Re-adjust the speaker control counter clockwise in order to have the message play while callers are on-hold. While listening to the on-hold message through the telephone handset, adjust the MOH volume, bass and treble to satisfactory levels.

Loading a new production:

Insert CD (with the MP3 audio file on it) into the tray of the Sonorous by pressing the Open/Close button (below CD drawer.)
The CD will begin to load itself into the flash memory of the unit. You can verify that it is loading when the green light in the bottom right corner changes to a flashing amber light.
Once production has finished loading, the amber light will return to green. The production is now playing. (You can listen to message via internal monitor speaker by pressing the monitor button.)
